I went through Army basic training in 2008 and I am really excited to read this book to see what is covered in "Basic".. the blurb on Goodreads alone has me worried because it says it's eight weeks long and that's not true... but we shall see how it goes. I feel as if there was more that I'm missing but I'm not sure. If I did miss something, I'll add it next week. Went shopping with my mother today and tried to sneak into Barnes and Noble but got caught. Went into a local bookstore 3 times (long story) and managed to not purchase anything (shocker, I know.. but I did pick up Spell Bound and Demonglass while I was there!) I apologize for being so forgetful, my doctor has me on some medication that has me slightly loopy today.

This is a VERY exciting week for me. I received my first ARC from a publisher on Thursday. Spencer Hill Publishing, who happen to be somewhat local to me, sent me ELEMENTAL by Emily White. I felt like a little kid on Christmas when I saw the envelope sitting on the dog crate at my house! Let me clarify, this is the first ARC that I actually requested and received.. not one that I won from a giveaway or Goodreads.
