Cassandra: Hi Jen, thanks for doing this interview. Congrats on all of your success with Tempting The Best Man so far! You've taken the jump from YA to Adult and after reading TtBM, I'd say it was a seamless transition. Did it feel that way when you were writing?
J. Lynn: Thanks for having me! It definitely wasn’t hard. TtBM was not the first adult book I wrote. Unchained and its sequel was, and I wrote that some time ago, so writing TtBM was like visiting an old friend.
Cassandra: I'm sure my readers will fall in love with the Gamble brothers like I have, is there any chance we'll see books for Chandler and Chad?
J. Lynn: There’s a good chance.
*swoons* I can hardly wait!
Cassandra: Unchained, the first book in your new adult series is coming out this fall, can you give us an idea of what to expect?
J. Lynn: If you’re familiar with my Covenant Series, Unchained has a lot of action. There’s a lot of fighting, intrigue, danger, and a lot of romance. It also features one incredibly hot fallen angel and Lily is truly a badass.
Fallen angel and a badass female? I'm in!
Cassandra: Which do you find easier to write, YA or Adult? Which do you have more fun writing?
J. Lynn: I find writing adult easier, but YA more fun. Adult is easier because there’s some things you have to watch out for in YA, but YA is fun because you’re usually capturing the firsts of everything.
Cassandra: You have 5 books coming out in 5 months, not to mention your tour this summer, how do you find the time to do it all?
J.Lynn: Ha! I don’t know. A lot of those books coming out were already written, but ask me again in December if I’m still sane.
Cassandra: Lastly, I'm sure everyone is wondering.. what can we expect to see from you in 2013?
J.Lynn: More books. Namely, my first YA mystery/thriller from Disney/Hyperion.
While I don't feature a lot of mystery/thrillers on my blog, it's what started my passion for reading so I'm excited!
