Book Synopsis (from Goodreads.com):
"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time."
Alexandria
isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her
Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if
the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a
goner... and so is Aiden.
If that's not freaky enough, whenever
Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code
word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with
another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to
Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.
But as her birthday draws
near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's
caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One
has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed
themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed...
and destroyed.
Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

Jennifer L Armentrout Summer Blog Tour
Hey everyone! *waves*
I'd like to thank the lovely Kayleigh over at K-Books for hosting this awesome tour.
I should have written this post weeks ago but I haven't really been up to it. So here we go!
I am truly obsessed with Jennifer's books, there is no other way to describe it. I am head over heels in love with her writing. You can't help but adore the characters she creates and the worlds she introduces us to. I am currently reading Onyx (What took me so long, right? Unfortunately being unemployed also leaves me broke so books only get purchased when my family is sick of hearing I have no books to read!) As soon as my Nook is charged up again, I am going to finish it. I'm VERY glad that Opal comes out in December because I don't think I could wait much longer.
A couple of months ago I received some wonderful ARCs from the lovely Kate over at Spencer Hill Press. She sent me a copy of Cursed and Deity and then a few days later I received a lone copy of Deity which I had won on her blog. You know what that means, right? GIVEAWAY time!!
If you would like to receive an ARC of Deity all you have to do is post a comment below and tell me who your favorite character is in any of JLA's books. If you haven't read any of her books (shame on you), tell me which book you would like to read. I will choose a winner with the help of Random.org on October 1st. US only due to shipping costs, sorry international followers. Please note: I will be attending a signing on November 6th, if the winner wants to wait, I will gladly get your copy of Deity signed!!
You can check out my spoiler-free review of Deity here.
I didn't include it because sometimes people are tempted to read even if they don't want to.
